Original parts Ford EcoSport 2013-2018
Ford Ecosport 2013-2018 first generation has a reputation for being a well-made car, but of course, even the most solid cars and trucks will break down without periodic maintenance and replacement of faulty systems. The quality manufacturing and spirited style that belong to a Ford Ecosport advocate for always buying OEM and aftermarket components of similar value; high-quality parts dont have to break the bank. Take advantage of www.Piese-Ford.ro whenever you want high-quality auto parts and you will always receive friendly service and a reasonable price throughout the year. Ford manufacturers have appreciated highly regarded vehicles, especially the Ecosport, and are often seen on American roads. When you want to buy Ford Ecosport parts, its a great idea to buy the most world-class OEM and replacement parts you can buy - and if you stick with partsgeek.com, youll see the best prices from anywhere, all managed with top-notch order fulfillment. It seems that the most difficult aspect of restoring a vehicle is the need to find a quality source for remarkable parts. When your Ford crashes, the logical solution is to find a top replacement auto part to keep your car in like-new shape. It takes excellent OEM and replacement for the Ford to run well, regardless of harsh conditions.
Ford EcoSport is one, and although it is practically on the boat from its factory in Chennai, it will be beaten by four similar-sized, similarly-concepted rivals - Opel Mocca, Nissan Juke, Peugeot 2008, and Holden Trax. Next year comes Renault Captur, Volkswagen Taigun, and maybe a version based on Mazda2. "Its no secret, the SUV segment is booming," says Ford Australia spokesman Neil McDonald. "We see no reason why the mini-SUV segment wont be the same."
Car manufacturers believe that baby SUVs will replicate the explosive sales success of passenger cars. Asia-Pacific vehicle program director, Ford, Trevor Worthington, based in Shanghai, states that intense focus groups in major global markets have resulted in the EcoSport.
"We found that the design needs to be relevant, contemporary, and fit the lifestyle of customers," he says at the cars debut in Goa, India. "Customers tell us they are busy, live in crowded cities, and want technology to fit into this busy life. Also, all focus groups have asked for compact size and high driving position. This is the same message we had with Territory those years ago. So we made an efficient car equipped with the latest technology. There is no waste in this car."
The intention is huge sales. Over two million cars will be made each year on the Fiesta / EcoSport platform by 2015. It is manufactured in Brazil and China and is now launching in India for the domestic and European and Australian markets. It will be made in Thailand, but only for regional sales.
Value
1 liter, three-cylinder will become the most expensive model in the Australian lineup and will carry the Titanium label. This is mainly because it is an expensive engine. Initially, it will only fit with a five-speed manual gearbox and a six-speed dual-clutch automatic is a long way out. The 1.5-liter gasoline will receive a choice of a five-speed manual and a dual-clutch automatic from day one.
The feature list is not confirmed, but EcoSport receives Ford Sync cabin communication system and "emergency assistance" - a program that automatically contacts emergency services if the car has deployed airbags or the fuel pump cut-off switch is activated, as in a rollover. The system works with a paired mobile phone.
The Sync developed by Ford and Microsoft, which will be extended to other Ford cars, works on voice commands to activate the phone, music library, and will read SMS messages aloud. Ford Australia says the car, in December, will be "very competitive" in the new segment, so expect an entry-level price of about $22,000.
Design Ford Ecosport 2013-2018
It is based on the Fiesta platform, so it gets all the Fiesta goodies, although the obviously raised look (no pun intended) raises the appeal. It has a huge 200 mm ground clearance and a wading depth of 550 mm - all initially academic when the wagon is just front-wheel drive, but there are advantages, not least being a high hip point and a trunk floor, which facilitates loading.
The car is designed with input from around the world, with Austrians doing their best to include the Territory front. The cabin does not yet mimic Fiesta and adds nine cup or bottle holders, a six-can cooler glove box, a drawer for a laptop from the passenger seat, and the intelligent communication system for Sync infotainment.
Cabin space is excellent for the cars exterior dimensions, including a trunk volume of 362 liters that extends to 705 liters when the rear seats are split, folded, and tumbled forward. The spare wheel is on the rear door, saving more cabin space, but it is mounted sideways on the right side, so it opens from the curb on our market. There are 20 storage spaces inside the car.
Technology
The biggest news is the 1-liter 92kW / 170Nm EcoBoost turbo-petrol engine, which has performance equivalent to a 1.6-liter engine. Features include a small turbocharger, variable valve timing, direct gasoline injection, and a smooth engine despite a counter-balance shaft for the odd-firing triple cylinders. It is a premium engine, so it will be on the upper models.
It is mated to a five-speed manual, but it is not available for an automatic - it is "not even in the planning stages," says Worthington. In fact, there is no car with the 1-liter engine and an automatic gearbox in Fords global inventory. Ford claims 5.3 L / 100 km compared to the 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine that drinks at 6.3 L / 100 km.
In some markets, there is a 1.5-liter turbo-diesel engine, but it is not for Australia. It is only 2WD, although the platform supports all-wheel drive. Brazil, where this car has been available for almost two years, has a 2WD model and an AWD model. The suspension and electric power steering are tuned by Ford Australia (test cars have been in the country for some time) to suit local conditions, although the company says they have already been rugged for Indias rough conditions.
Safety
Ford says it is almost certain of a five-star rating. EcoSport receives all current electronic safety aids and adds "hill launch assist" which holds the car on a slope for three seconds, brake assist, emergency brake light, and emergency assistance if the car has a bump.
Emergency assistance is available on models equipped with Sync and uses the drivers paired phone to send an emergency voice message to emergency operators when an airbag is deployed or the fuel pump is shut off. It also sends the cars GPS coordinates to the emergency operator to find you more easily. EcoSport carries its spare on the tail and is expected to be a full-size wheel.
