How can you return products purchased from Piese-FORD?

Products purchased from www.piese-FORD.ro can be returned within 30 calendar days from receiving the package:
• by completing the Return Form displayed on the site in the My Returns section. The 30 calendar days period is calculated: from the date of product delivery if the product was purchased from www.piese-ford.ro;
• It is necessary to log into the Piese-Ford customer account. Follow the steps for applying the return and filling in the refund data. Here
• The buyer has the right to withdraw from the sales contract without having to justify the decision and without incurring other costs.
In accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU, point (47) from the presentation: to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods,
the consumer should handle and inspect them in the same way they would be allowed to do in a store.
You are responsible for any potential decrease in the value of the products if, following the verification of conformity, properties, and functionality
of the products, it is proven that this devaluation was caused by improper handling by you.

Conditions regarding the returned product

It is recommended that the returned product be in the same condition as it was purchased or delivered:
• To have all components, accessories
• The product must be returned safely, as much as possible in the original packaging to avoid damage
during handling and/or transport. Some products are marked with a seal applied by the manufacturer on the packaging. This seal is not mandatory, its presence being specific to the manufacturer. The presence of the seal is not mandatory to demonstrate that the product is exactly in the form and conditions in which it was released by the manufacturer. Damage to the seal does not limit the right to withdraw from the contract.
 
Products not accepted for return
• Sealed products that cannot be returned for health protection reasons or that have been unsealed by the consumer, regardless of whether they have been used after unsealing (e.g.: liquids, oils, maintenance solutions);
• Sealed software programs that have been unsealed after delivery; GPS maps that are sealed software
• Products that show physical changes, hits, chips, scratches, mechanical or electrical shocks (not reported as aesthetic defects within the first
24 hours of receiving the product). Products that show physical changes, hits, chips, scratches,
shocks, signs of excessive use and/or unauthorized interventions, etc., are not accepted for return. Products must be checked in the presence of the courier or immediately after. If you have accepted the package, we recommend that you ask the courier to complete a report and inform us within 24 hours of delivery at the email address office@piese-ford.ro! Failure to complete the report in the presence of the courier who made the delivery and any subsequent notification will complicate the positive resolution. Complaints after the 24-hour period regarding the integrity of the package will not be considered. Failure to complete the report in this time leads to the acceptance by the buyer and that they have checked the received products.
• Products brought on firm special orders for which full advance payment was required;
• Batteries, xenon bulbs, halogen bulbs (removed from the original box);
• If multiple products of the same model were purchased, returns are accepted only if one has been unsealed or unpacked;
• In the case of multiple products purchased through online credit selecting payment by card in installments, a single product cannot be returned, only a full return of all products.
• If there were bonuses with the order, those products will also be returned.
 
Exercising the right of withdrawal

The consumer informs Piese-FORD about the decision to withdraw from the contract by completing the Return Form available on the site at the address https://www.piese-ford.ro/retururile_mele from the customer account requiring authentication. For products for which the return request was made through the Return Form on the site, within a maximum of 1 working day from sending the notification, the buyer will receive a registration number and details regarding the submitted request by email. Communication with the client will be done in writing to the email address with which the initial order was made. The amount related to the return will be refunded by bank transfer, when the client paid by payment order, or card payment. In cash if this method was used and the client does not want the money returned by bank transfer being at the clients choice. This option cannot be selected if paid by card and the return is cash on delivery.
 
For returned products, the following steps are necessary:

The client hands over the product to the courier with all components, accessories, obligatorily accompanied by the invoice and proof of payment, based on a handover report. Piese-FORD will evaluate the condition of the product, including its components and accessories. Piese-FORD will issue a credit note with the value resulting from the evaluation and will refund the respective amount of money to the client, including the initial delivery costs if they were borne by the buyer. The amount related to the return, which appears on the credit note, will be refunded to the client by the same payment method. If the client paid in cash, the amount will be refunded in cash, within the maximum limit set by law, 10,000 lei for individuals, respectively 5,000 lei for legal entities

If the order payment was made with a bank card, the refund will be made by the same payment method within a maximum of 5 working days from the date Piese-FORD receives the returned product, but no more than 14 calendar days from the moment Piese-FORD is informed of the consumers decision to withdraw from the contract. In the case of a return, if the client opts to replace the returned product with another product available for sale, the client will be refunded only the difference between the return value and the new product price (or, as the case may be, will pay the difference). In the case of a return with a value exceeding the maximum limit for cash payments, the payment will also be made by bank transfer.
 
How long will it take to refund the amount related to the return?
The term may be extended in case of lack of liquidity, in which case the buyer will be informed and, with their agreement, a new refund date will be established for the amount related to the return. Refunds by bank transfer will be made within a maximum of 5 working days from the date Piese-FORD receives the returned product, but no more than 14 calendar days from the moment Piese-FORD is informed of the consumers decision to withdraw from the contract. Refunds for online returns will be made within a maximum of 5 working days from the date Piese-FORD receives the returned product, but no more than 14 calendar days from the moment Piese-FORD is informed of the consumers decision to withdraw from the contract. The day the consumer exercises the right of withdrawal from the contract will not be considered in the calculation of the term, and if the last day of the term is a non-working day, Piese-FORD will extend the term accordingly. Piese-FORD.ro does not restrict your right to return according to OUG 34. After we receive the return in our warehouse, we will check the condition of the returned products. Subsequently, we will communicate the status of the return.
 
Processing of personal data for the purpose of making the return In case there are no non-conformities and the products meet all the return conditions mentioned above, Piese-FORD employees will proceed to draw up the applicable financial-accounting documents, in accordance with legal provisions (return/advance invoice). The data necessary for drawing up the above-mentioned documents refer to: name, surname, domicile, ID series and number, bank account, as applicable. We will use personal data for the purpose of drawing up financial-accounting documents, according to the legal provisions in force. If you do not wish to provide this data, returning the products is not possible even if they fall within the return conditions mentioned above, as we cannot comply with the legislation in the fiscal field. Costs and special fees for withdrawal from purchase: all costs are borne by Piese-FORD. Piese-FORD may refuse collaboration with consumers who have abused the right to withdraw from purchase.
